In THE FIRST TEN YEARS, the sometimes hilarious, occasionally heartbreaking, and always entertaining joint memoir by Welcome to Night Vale creator Joseph Fink and writer and performer Meg Bashwiner, the couple chronicle the beginning of their story together, over the course of a decade. Each chapter tackles a year of their relationship, each writing without consulting the other. This unique method of memoir explores how marriage is not just a couple, but also two people, each experiencing and remembering their life a little bit differently than the other. 2009. Joseph Fink and Meg Bashwiner meet. New to New York City from the West Coast, Joseph is juggling odd jobs to pay for rent while volunteering at a theater company in the East Village so he could snag free tickets to their shows. Meg, an aspiring performer, and playwright lives with her parents just outside the city, working a desk job and commuting to her internship at the same East Village theater company. Both in their early twenties, trying to figure out the landscape of the city and their place in the world, Joseph and Meg meet when they both find themselves selling tickets in a cramped box office. They quickly became friends and within a year they are a couple. Within five years they are touring the world and performing on some of the world’s greatest and not so great stages. Over a decade, they experience the best and worst parts of life - the death of a father, the high and low points of marriage, international fame, world tours, mental illness, and discussions about having children. In this candid, soul-baring memoir, Joseph and Meg recount their years together, each telling their story as they remember it. Readers experience both sides of their first kiss, first breakup, first getting back together. Sometimes, they recall things differently—neither agrees on who paid for the morning after pill on their first date. Sometimes they remember the exact same details in the same way, but still have their own narrative on just what those details mean, which is exactly how it should be. Their accounts are raw, honest, and painfully relatable. This is so much more than a love story - this is the story of two different people whose lives intertwined the moment they met in that small box office and how neither were ever the same.

Joseph Fink created the Welcome to Night Vale and Alice Isn't Dead podcasts and is the author of the novel Alice Isn’t Dead, and co-author of the New York Times best-selling novels Welcome to Night Vale, It Devours!, The Faceless Old Woman Who Secretly Lives In Your Home, and four Welcome to Night Vale episode script books: Mostly Void, Partially Stars, The Great Glowing Coils of the Universe, The Buying of Lot 37, and Who’s a Good Boy.

Meg Bashwiner is a writer, performer, tour manager, podcaster and producer. She is the emcee for the international touring live show of the Welcome to Night Vale podcast. She is an alumni member of the acclaimed New York theater company The New York Neo-Futurists. They live in the Hudson Valley and Los Angeles.

GOODBYE, AGAIN is an illustrated collection of essays and other writings. Sun was inspired to write GOODBYE, AGAIN as a vehicle to talk about what it means to be human. The pieces are a series of meditations on topics such as loneliness, what it means to feel like an outsider, to short humor pieces, conversations, poems, and memorable one-liners – all interspersed with Jonny’s charming black and white line illustrations.  His honest writing about his struggles with feeling productive, as well as his own difficulties with anxiety and depression, will connect deeply with his fans as well as anyone attempting to create in our chaotic world. The book also features a sweetly rendered recipe for scrambled eggs that might just make you cry.
