Tennessee native Evie Shockley presents her fourth collection of poetry, the new black. Shockley holds a PhD in African Literature from Duke University and teaches at Rutgers University. Local poet and translator Luke Hankins will read from his first collection of poems, Weak Devotions. He is the Senior Editor at Asheville Poetry Review, where he has been on staff since 2006. |
