Now I am not a 'children of the Raj' reader in my daily life but once opening this book it is impossible to leave it. The author keeps amazing me with the beauty of the language practically in each sentence and the story is fascinating, I must admit.

In Nonbeliever Nation, leading secular advocate David Niose explores what it means that nearly one in five Americans are nonbelievers, and what that means for the unchallenged dominance of the Religious Right. Hitting on all the hot-button issues that divide the country, he shows how this movement is gaining traction, and fighting for its rights. “David Niose. . . demonstrates. . . that America’s secular demographic is more numerous and better organized than ever. . . [and that it] offers much hope for rational public policy and discourse.”--Steven Pinker, Harvard professor and author of The Better Angels of our Nature --Our thanks to WNC Humanists for bringing David Niose to Asheville!
