Now I am not a 'children of the Raj' reader in my daily life but once opening this book it is impossible to leave it. The author keeps amazing me with the beauty of the language practically in each sentence and the story is fascinating, I must admit.
AN EVENT FOR TEEN READERS: MEET THE AUTHORS OF SUBURBAN STRANGE & FINGERPRINTS OF YOU
11/27/2012 7:00 pm
Don't miss meeting Kristen-Paige Madonia, author of Fingerprints of You, and Nathan Kotecki, author of The Suburban Strange. Author Judy Blume says of Kristen-Paige Madonia, “Her writing is luminous, her voice original, and the journey she takes us on [in Fingerprints of You], compelling. . . . Sure to appeal to both teens and adults who will want to read it again, just as I did.” The online book review Miss Literati describes the appeal of Nathan Kotecki’s The Suburban Strange in this way: “The paranormal aspect of the novel is intertwined perfectly with the coming of age story. The dominant theme of the book isn’t about magic powers and good vs. evil, but rather . . . what it’s like to be in high school.”
