my first legal job was as a bookseller (before that i was an underage soda jerk. shhh...). during all those early years and pretty much every year beyond i was held fairly captive to all things contained inside a book, and i am grateful. following that first stint as a bookseller, i took off in myriad directions: the mental health profession, the arts, the organic food industry, other ventures, including a few years in which i vowed to not peek inside any book that came with a blurb or a claim. that is a lot of books, including the bible! all those years combined have been very good years spent making one’s way through life, and you will see those years reflected in my faves. the array of subjects covered here speaks about what is life, how does it work, what are the possibilities, and above all, the overriding consideration of where is the art, the poetry, the love in life. please enjoy, and if i can be of assistance in this most wonderful bookstore, please let me know. |
